Get to know our newest intern, Estefy Estrada. Estefy, a talented Quinnipiac alum, will be joining the Social Scousers team as a Social Media Co-ordinator. With background in marketing, fashion, and business studies, Estefy brings experience and skill, and will be a joy to have on the team. 

Nice to e-meet you! My name is Estefy Estrada, I was born and raised in Monterrey, México and I recently graduated from Quinnipiac University. Back in 2016, I came to the United States to play soccer and pursue my bachelor’s degree in International Business and minor in Marketing. I enjoy blogging, traveling and sports. My background includes working in Fashion, Marketing and Business Consultation. My latest job was working as a liaison between international clients, while collaborating with the Consulates of Hungary and Poland in New York City, to report research findings and strategize future business with startup companies that attempt to access the US market. My past internships and soccer experiences, have taught me to how to stay dedicated and perseverant! One thing I can relate from being an athlete to my work is the ability to pursue a goal and work for it non-stop. I strongly believe these skills have made it possible for me to stand out in a working environment. The knowledge I’ve gained and the connections I’ve made have been the best rewards yet. I can’t wait to see the impact Social Scousers will have on my learning and growth as a future business/marketing professional. A fun fact about me? I was 1 of only 25 Mexican-born female soccer players in the NCAA Division l and the first Mexican-born player in program history for Quinnipiac University.
